Definition
Gerund : a noun that made out of verb OR an –ing form of the verb, function as noun

Kind of Gerund

a. Gerund as subject
ex: Gardening is my hobby

b. Gerund as object
•Object of preposition
ex: You’re good at painting
•Object of some verbs
ex: Would you mind closing the door?
